Optical 3D profilometry

 

We have the necessary expertise and tools to measure the micro and macrostructure and texture of surfaces. The measured samples can be made of any solid material, e.g. metal, plastic, glass, etc. Since the sample is illuminated only with low-intensity light during the measurement, the measured surface of the sample is not damaged. 

To successfully perform these tasks, we have two scanning microscopes:

 

  Filmetrics Profilm 3D scanning white light interferometer

  Measurement accuracy perpendicular to the surface plate: 10nm

  Measurement accuracy parallel to the surface plate: 0.5 µm

  Polytec color confocal microscope with a self-developed scanning mechanism

  Measurement accuracy perpendicular to the surface plate: 100nm

  Measurement accuracy parallel to the surface plate: 1 µm

 

If necessary, we develop custom signal processing and measuring software to evaluate the raw measurement data according to the customer's needs.
